Crash-a-holic

1:This app crashed every time I tried to open this app. 2:Although this is free the app only comes with four different things that you could learn -body -people -animals -colors This app could be good if it did not crash because it uses the same learning style as roseta stone. I would try this app and if it does not crash then enjoy.

Glitchy

This app WILL be awesome once the glitches are worked out! Too buggy for my 4yr to use. Esp on the numbers. Those who designed this app need to give it to someone who has never used it before and take notes on where they get stuck. I am sure this will be wonderful after a few kinks are worked out.

Great for everyone

This app has issues when I first downloaded, but after I hard restarted my phone it has worked beautifully. I have noticed that people are complaining that there are only 4 catagories to choose from but after you master those four you get four more catagories so keep going! I am currently on my 9th category (every time you complete 4 it gives you a new set of 4)and I am wondering how many it has! I love, love, love this app and I cant believe it is free. My 6 yr old loves it too! The only things I wish could be changed are: A sign in area so that when more than one person is playing it would start where you left off and/or a menu area so that I could go back to any catagory that I had already completed. Keep up the good work 321speak.

Alright...

Its alright... A few issues. Best word for orange is 橘黄, but the app first teaches 橙色, then later goes to 橘黄 without instruction. 男子 not the best basic word. 男人 or 男的 are better first words. Same for woman. 女人 or 女的 are better first words. Duck is usually 鸭子. Otherwise pretty solid. Pronunciation not the best, but not bad.

Nice!

Nice app for teaching my 6 year old Chinese. we play this on my ipad before bedtime, its like a game we work on together and she loves the pictures. Ive used Rosetta Stone before and this app has a similar style, but geared towards kids

Xie xie!

Thank goodness I didnt spend $500 on the alternative! My family has used Rosetta Stone in the past, and this time I decided to shop around before diving into my wallet. My son and I decided to download this version for fun and weve been "addicted" ever since. Its user-friendly and comprehensive. In fact, my wife and daughter just downloaded the Spanish version and weve made it into a bit of a contest, seeing who can learn their language faster! Were going to keep our eye out for more from this company. Xie xie!

Chinese for Kids

Real life photos appeal to students. Content is interesting and fun for children. The game-like presentation is a plus. As a non Chinese speaking teacher I appreciate the available translations in this newer version.

iHomeEducator

We have three 2nd generation American Born Chinese children and for 2011 we decided that we need to start to teach them Chinese more. We had purchased Rosetta Stone and it was difficult to run it on our MacBook. We are finding this app to be ideal. It doesnt have all the features of Rosetta stone but definitely does the basics to keep the children and adults engaged. The speakers are very authentic and the pictures are engaging. I also like that it progressively and randomly moves the child forward in vocabulary. Note: we are iHomeEducator an app developer and publisher too and we are very happy with Wendlink, Inc.

Love it. Want more topics

The interface is slick and engaging! Super!

Very nice!!!

I loved it! It really teaches you the essentials of chinese! :) keep up the good work!!

Picture based

I loved that it is pictured based. My daughter and I were doing it together and within minutes we could distinguish simple names of items. A fun way to learn...

Crashes

Cant even open the app! What a waste of $3.99
